Rock Paper Scissors was born from an idea to create a third space where like-minded people can come and escape the every day monotony and chaos. This space allows creativity and exploration of new skills and self-expression, while also creating a cozy, safe environment to make new friends. Our punk-style vibe gently pushes back against systems that don't leave room for creativity in our home and work lives.

Why Rock Paper Scissors?

Growing up a punk rock kid, I was always rebellious and speaking my mind especially for the underdogs, so I learned quickly that you need a strong community when you're mouthy lol. The punk community is a no questions asked, safe space for all the misfits and weirdos. It's an open-minded, grimy, DIY, raw authenticy that has never left me. So there's the rock. Paper is such a fascinating tool dating back millenia. It was the only way of communication between lands and people and continents for such a long time. Now, with the book bans and the things happening in the government, it's a way to go back analog and record history and communicate without being erased. Scissors give us the ability to alter and transform things. They also allow us to destroy or reconstruct to change the narrative to now represent who you are. So if the clothing or the paper doesn't properly represent who you are or who you feel like, alter and manipulate it until it shouts who you are
